Roscoe – Daniel F. Hayes, 78, was welcomed into heaven on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Born April 10, 1933 in Chicago, Il to Daniel F. and Marion (Ryan) Hayes. Married Nancy VanderWerf on May 11, 1957 and together raised five children. He worked as a manager for K-Mart until retiring. Daniel was a devoted family man who enjoyed a game of golf, reading about history and traveling with his wife and family.

Survived by wife of 54 years Nancy; children, Daniel T. (Judy), Kenneth, Michael (Karen) Hayes, Linda Young and Karen Le Blanc; 14 grandchildren.

Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 2222 Shopiere Rd., Beloit, Wi. Memorials to the Church.
