Rockford - Pedro Montoya, 32, was gently guided into Heaven on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Born in Rockford on April 1, 1979 to Fransisco and Elvia (Carreno) Montoya. He was very devoted to Our Lady of Guadalupe and was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. His smile made everyone else smile.

He is survived by his parents; children, Gabriel and Alejandra O. Montoya and Illeana Flores and their mother Obdulia Flores; brothers, Juan and Francisco Montoya; godparents, Isidro and Guillermina Montoya; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandparents, Rafael and Altagracia Carreno.
