Rockford - Thomas Deskins, 56, was welcomed into heaven on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 after a sudden illness. Born June 16, 1955 to Winford and Nannie (Alley) Deskins. He married Sandra Glover December 28, 2010. Tom was employed as a machinist at Atwood, Rockford Products and Rocknel Fasteners. Tom lived and loved life to the fullest. He enjoyed fishing, and making people laugh. But most importantly he was the most dependable Dad.

Survived by his loving wife, Sandy; son, Justin; brothers, Robert, Michael (Nadine), and Mark (Cheryl) Deskins; sister, Naomi (Sheldon) Pasold; very special mother-in-law, Verna Glover; several nieces and nephews who truly adored their Uncle Tom. Predeceased by parents.
