Rita J. Molina, 69, of Loves Park, Illinois passed away on Monday, April 23, in her home. Born May 24, 1942, in Argentina, the daughter of Luis Balbuena Barrios and Fernanda Hermelinda Velazco Gonzalez. Rita owned Junior Day Care. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, an avid gardener and enjoyed travelling.

Survived by three children, Helen (Diego) Molina Tobon, Manuel J. (Marci) Molina and Jennifer (Mohamad) Molina; siblings, Luisa Herminda Rios, Teresa Elisa Bordon and Jose Hector Balbuena; and grandchildren, Alexis Stevens, Arielle Lindblom, Bastian Sanchez, Gabriella and Lucas Molina, Yafa and Thiyab Hannon, and great-grandchild, Lilliana Stevens; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents and brother, Luis Raul Balbuena.

Memorial Mass at 11:30am on Monday, April 30, 2012 in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Road with a visitation from 10:30am until time of Mass and followed by a luncheon. A Celebration of Life Open House will be held at her home at 5552 Windy Knoll Drive on Sunday, April 29, from 1:00-3:00. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Northern Illinois Hospice. Private family burial in Argentina. Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory is honored to have assisted the family.
