Rockford - Kay M. Lee, 58, left this life Sunday, June 3, 2012 surrounded by her family and friends after a long battle with cancer. Born in Rockford, Il. May 12, 1954 to Dominic and Elaine (Schlichter) Musso. She married Dave Lee on April 3, 1971 and together raised three children. Kay was an accountant at SPX Corp. Although, her most important roles in life were taking care of her family and giving lots of love to all her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and caring for all her beautiful flower beds. She had a tender heart for all animals, especially her two horses. Crafting, and antiquing occupied her spare time along with her bestie and long time friend Pat.

Survivors include mother, Elaine Musso; husband of 42 years, Dave; children, Robert (Regina), Toni, and Heather (Rory Snyder) Lee; grandchildren, Anthony, Alayna, and Austin; two great-grandchildren; brother, Dale Musso; sister, Debbie (Chuck) Williams. Predeceased by father, Dominic Musso and brother Frank Musso.

Services at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2012 at Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 4311 N. Mulford Rd. Rockford Chapel with Pastor Anthony Maynard officiating. Burial at Calvary Cemetery Visitation 5:00 -7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 7 at Honquest Rockford Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family to be established at a later date.
