Rockford - Dale G. Mellenthin, 65, died Tuesday June 12, 2012 at St. Anthony Hospital. Born May 31, 1947, in Colby, Wisconsin to Gordon and Marion (Frome) Mellenthin. He married Sandra Nelson and together shared over 36 years of marriage. Dale was an avid golfer who enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing.

Survived by wife Sandra; son, Troy (Linette) Graulich; daughter, Sheri (Bill) Briggs; brother, Dane(Verna) Mellenthin; grandchildren, Aaron, Jessica, Jeffrey and Jonathan; five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by parents, and sister Dawn.

Private family services. Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory Rockford Chapel was honored to have assisted the family, cremation rites have been accorded.
