Rockford - Chester W. Clark, 92, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, June 14, 2012. Born January 29, 1920 in Nebraska to James and Mary (Williams) Clark. He married Shirley Dinkins on June 1, 1949 and shared 63, beautiful years together. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during WW11 in England, then worked as an assembler at Barber Coleman. Chester was an active member of First assembly of God in Rockford for 62 years, truly a loyal servant. He is regarded as a loving, faithful and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Shirley; daughter, Penny (Shane) Fox; brother, William Clark; sister, Vonna Strong and grandchild Haley. Predeceased by parents; brother, James; sisters, Gwendolyn Keim and Katherine Beilfuss.

Funeral Services 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Rockford First Church 5950 Spring Creek Rd. Rockford Il. with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
