I went to high school with Lindsay and I absolutely remember her sense of humor and contagious laugh. Rest in peace Lindsay.

I struggle to find the words so I include this memory~ ...Years ago I enjoyed some time alone one afternoon with Lindsay Cook. We had lunch together. She was barely 9.
After chatting about her school and friends she asked about my life. I told her I was seeing someone new....her advice I will never forget. She looked right at me and said that I should be who I am and not who I thought He wanted me to be. She was right...at such a young age. She saw. She knew.
This moment I have thought of often through the years and the advice has guided me.
Thank you, Lindsay. I will always remember that sweet face across the table that cared so much. xo
