Rockford, Illinois Josephine G. Sadewater, 96, of Rockford, Illinois died August 16, 2012 in Medina Nursing Center in Durand. She was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois Born to Natalie & Antonia (Caccia) Castigilioni. She married Christopher Sadewater June 25, 1938. He passed away in 1985. She worked 35 years for Tydee Dydee Diaper Services. Jo was an avid Packers Fan. She loved to cook for her family. Her greatest joy was caring for her family and others any way she could. She loved to dance especially polka. She was a life member of the Verde Club.

Survived by two children; Sandra (Alan) Peterson, Toms River, N.J., James Sadewater, Rockford, Illinois; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild, and many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband Chris, two brothers, and daughter-in-law. The family would like to thank Medina Manor for the loving care of our mother Jo.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 20, 2012 in St. Bernadette Catholic Church 2330 Bell Ave. Fr. Carl Beekman will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m., to 10:50 a.m. in the parish hall. Private graveside services will be in Cedar Bluff Cemetery.
